About FCC

Faith Community Church is a congregation who deeply reverences the Word of God and seeks to establish all its teachings and activities around the inspired text. The Word of God establishes our message, guides our worship, and governs our mission. In order to properly glorify God and to honor the Sacred Scriptures, we preach the crucified Christ as the only means by which one can be saved. By exalting Jesus Christ as Lord over all, and by making Him known among the nations, will we glorify the Father and fulfill the purpose for our existence. In order to expand and facilitate our global impact, Faith Community Church joined the Southern Baptist Convention in 2001. We also support missionaries who are commissioned and sent forth by other sending agencies.

Welcome to FCC

It can be a daunting experience to walk into a church for the first time. When you first come to FCC we hope that you will be immediately welcomed by one of our ushers who greet you at the door. Those ushers are there to serve you, so if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask them.

For all of our Sunday services we provide a well-staffed nursery if you have need of childcare. Ask the ushers and they can point you in the right direction. We also provide an overflow room where the Sunday morning services are live-streamed. This room can also be utilized for parents of small children.

One of the most important things we ask of our first time visitors is to fill out the infamous “blue card”. This card provides us with a record of your visit and some of the most basic information about you. Providing this information allows one of our pastors to contact you should you have any questions about the church.

What is FCC like?

We are a very eclectic group. We don’t fit into a simple category. People come from all sorts of different walks of life. We have older folks and younger folks. Married, divorced, and single. Rich to poor. Simple to highly educated. And we have a bunch of children!

What do people wear to church?

We are a very eclectic group. We don’t fit into a simple category. Some people wear their Sunday best while others come more casual. It would not be unusual to observe someone in a nice business suit talking in the hall with someone in jeans and sandals.

What should I bring?

This may sound like an odd question, but it really does express what you can expect when you first come to FCC. When you visit bring your Bible but leave your checkbook home. One of the first things you will notice about our service is that we do not pass around a plate for the offering. We believe giving is a privilege and responsibility of the members of the church. As such, the Bible explains that giving should be intentional, cheerful, and discreet. We provide offering boxes in the sanctuary for those who desire to financially participate in this ministry.
