David Bush

Trustee

dntbush@att.net

David Bush is a native of Kansas City North. He was raised in a Baptist church. When he was ten years old he went forward because he didn’t want to go to hell. At that time he really didn’t understand the whole work of the cross. After about two years of “being good,” he started living as the world lives. That lasted about ten years, until God let him get so low he had to cry out to Him. God allowed David to come to an understanding of what Christ truly did for him at the cross. God then started teaching him His Word and His way. He’s been married to Tina, who also is from Kansas City North, for 39 years. God blessed them with two children (Lisa and Kevin) and six grandchildren. God led them to Faith Community Church in 2008. They praise Him for the body at Faith. Retired from the United States Postal Service in 2009, David is now working time-part for Food Service in the North Kansas City School District.

Ralph Crawford

Trustee

Ralph and Shelly will be celebrating 25 years of marriage in August, 2013. In 2006, the LORD sovereignly opened their eyes to their sins and their need of a Savior through the blood of Jesus Christ. They feel that the Lord protected them from so much in their lives and that He gave them a great gift in bringing them to FCC. This is the first church that they ever attended. They can say after six years here, the Lord has been so good and blessed them with wonderful friendships, the godly men and women that are in their lives, and especially through the teaching of the Word. Ralph serves as a trustee and an usher. Shelly is a member of the ladies book group and serves in the CD ministry. They both feel so blessed in the opportunities they have to serve the body and how God has continued to grow them and always renewing their desires to know Him more.

Ken Lewis

Chairman of the Trustees, Deacon

krcjlewis@att.net

Ken Lewis is a native of Kansas City and he and his wife, Cindy, have been married for over 46 years. They have two sons, Shawn and Brian, and Brian’s wife Amy and granddaughter. ALL of his family now lives in the Kansas City area. Prior to coming to Faith Community Church, Ken served on the board of overseers at another area church for eleven years. He retired from Delta Airlines, after thirty-two years, and is now employed by Voss Lighting part-time. In the time that Ken and Cindy have been with FCC, Ken has demonstrated his heart for serving the Lord and the people of the church. He enjoys “fixing things,” relates well with people, and has simply been acclaimed by the church, to the official designation of deacon, in that he was already functioning in that capacity. Ken loves the Lord, his family, and (his) dogs.
